Islamabad security put on high alert

ISLAMABAD: Security agencies in Islamabad were put on high alert on Friday as terror threat looms large over Pakistan’s capital city, ARY News reported.

Sources claim that important government, state buildings including Diplomatoc Enclave, Jinnah Complex, Potohar Complex, Quaid-e-Azam University, Rawal Dam, Bhara Kahu, Noor Khan base and Benazir Bhutto International Airport can be targeted by terrorist attacks aimed at jolting the country’s capital.

Security and law enforcement agencies have been instructed to remain vigilant and officials are directed to take strong measures to prevent any untoward incident.
