SHO City Police Station Shahid Saleem told ARY News that Police found a bomb in a parcel at Khushi Mohammad Street after which they called the bomb disposal squad.
The bomb squad arrived at the scene and defused the 20 kilogram bomb.
A BDS spokesperson said that the bomb was made inside a ghee can and it could have caused large scale destruction.
