PESHAWAR: A new security plan has been devised for air bases in Khyber Pakhtonkhwa (KP) in view of the ongoing military operation in the province and threats of militants’ attacks in its wake, ARY News reported Monday.
The plan was approved during a high-level meeting, attended by top government officials of the province.
Under the plan, it was decided that security to Chitral airport will be beefed up as current security measures there are insufficient. It is also decided to conduct inspection of people living on mountainous areas of the KP.
