SWAT: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a terror suspect in a raid in Swat, ARY News reported on Thursday.
According to CTD, a raid was carried out at New Road in Swat’s Mingora area and arrested a suspected terrorist Ali Mohammad.
The arrested man said to be involved in burning of three girls schools in Swat during the turmoil of 2008 in the valley.
The nabbed man has been shifted to an unknown location for investigation.
The counter terrorism department had also arrested a terror suspect Sardar Ali from Malakand on 8th September, 2016.
He was allegedly involved in remote controlled bomb attacks targeting the security forces in 2008. At least two security men had lost their lives whereas two others were wounded.
