Terrorists not to be allowed to bounce back: COAS

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), military’s public affairs wing, the COAS expressed satisfaction on the military operation against militants in North Waziristan Agency ‘Zarb-e-Azb’.

The army chief paid tributes to the martyrs who laid the ultimate sacrifice of their lives for the country’s defence.

“We can bring peace in the country with concerted efforts,” said General Sharif. He added, “We will not sit with patience until complete elimination of terrorists from the country.”

He asked Pak army soldiers to use all resources to crush terrorists.

Corp commanders briefed the COAS regarding IDPs and overall progress on the operation.

The ISPR said the full-scale military offensive was launched in NWA on June 15 wherein more than 500 local and foreign terrorists have so far been killed.

The COAS spent his Eid day with the Pak army soldiers in the volatile region and also distributed gifts among the internally displaced persons.
