“Asif Hasnain’s deserting made no difference. The party workers should not panic. MQM has had gone through a struggle of 38 years which would not be wasted,” he said on arrival of his party workers at his home.

He also requested Army chief to help stop molding of MQM workers’ loyalties under torture. The process of extra-judicial killings of workers and cornering MQM should be stopped and our mandate should be accepted.

To a query, he said Asif’s parting ways with MQM made no difference and he would talk more about Asif Hasnain in tomorrow’s press conference.

“The time clock will now rotate backwards. Those who left MQM under fear would come back to the party,” he said.
