Four civilians killed in Indian firing on Working Boundary

Those killed in the firing incident included a woman. The deceased have been identified as Ghulam Mustafa, Rahat and Muhammad Boota. An 18-year-old girl Zarina Bibi, was killed in Rawalakot.

The fresh attacks of firing and shelling had started on Wednesday morning. Chenab Rangers responded with retaliatory firing and silenced the Indian guns, sources said.

The fresh incidents of unprovoked firing have increased tensions on the border. Indian troops targeted several bordeer villages including Salehpoor.

Rangers sources said the attacks along the Working Boundary have mostly harmed civilians, adding that livestock belonging to residents of the area has been killed, while houses have been partially damaged.
