KARACHI: A three day anti-polio campaign has kicked off in Karachi in which 35 lac children will be immunized from the virus and nine other diseases, ARY News reports.
According to polio officials, more than 50 lac children have been immunized from polio.
Renowned Pakistani batsman Asad Shafiq is also active in the anti-polio campaign. He said that he was personally interested in the drive and every member of the society has to play their role in eradicating the disease.
On the other hand, polio officials at Ghurbi district have gone on vacation.
