ISLAMABAD: The committee formed to draft the terms of reference (ToRs) of the Panama Papers inquiry met on Wednesday to craft a strategy, after which the members will formally start working on the matter from tomorrow, ARY News reported.

The members of the government and the opposition exchanged their views on ToRs at the meeting presided by Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) Ayaz Sadiq.

Talking to media afterwards, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) lawmaker Aitzaz Ahsan said the committee will formally start working from tomorrow. He said that there will be no voting system but the committee will try making decisions through consensus.

Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said there will be six members each in the committee from both sides, whereas the seventh member will not attend the session. He hoped that the body will not disappoint the people.

Federal Minister Mir Hasil Bizenjo said that the decisions of the committee will be made through mutual agreement, and it will submit its report within two weeks.
