The tribunal has deferred the decision as the case is also being heard in Islamabad High Court. This the fourth time that the announcement of the verdict has been delayed.
It should be noted the tribunal has reserved the verdict of the petition filed by National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq against PTI’s Aleem Khan over submitting false affidavits.
Speaking to media outside Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz MNA Marium Aurangzaib said that Tehreek-e-Insaf is hiding behind stay orders.
“PTI itself says that institutions should take action against those who have done wrong and they themselves become a hurdle in front of the judiciary when they take action,” she said.
She also requested the ECP to hear the case of the irregularities in PTI funds.
