Turkish PM arrives in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglo arrived here in Islamabad for two day state visit to Pakistan, ARY News reports on Tuesday.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal received the Turkish Prime Minister and his delegation, which includes ministers, government officials and businessmen.

The Turkish PM will meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in which the overall regional situation along with international issues will be discussed.

President Mamnoon Hussain will host a dinner for Davutoglo and his delegation.

The two prime ministers will co-chair the 4th Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) moot in Islamabad.

Several agreements and pacts are likely to be signed between Pakistan and Turkey as well during the Turkish PM’s visit to Pakistan.
