Two more children die in Sargodha hospital

TOP NEWS

The death toll of children in Sargodha has risen to 74 in the past 41 days.

The provincial government has not been able to provide the hospital with proper technical facilities required for the treatment of infants and children despite the promises of Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.

The grieving parents said that the administration has failed to address the issue.

The death of infants and children in Tharparkar and Sargodha have posed a question mark on the performance of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) governments in Sindh and Punjab where drought and lack of medical facilities respectively claimed the lives of new borns and other children.

More than 250 infants have passed away in Thar whereas the concerned authorities are absent in addressing the crisis.
