According to details, unknown armed men opened fire at the two police officers who were performing their duties near Noor-e-Imaan Mosque at Nazimabad No. 4 area.
It should be noted at 18 cops have been shot dead so far in Karachi this year.
Unidentified persons, riding a motorcycle, gunned down Dr. Farooq Shaikh at Gulberg area of Karachi as he was returning home from his clinic.
On the other hand, five suspects including three activists of a political party were nabbed from Landhi area.
