Two die, scores injured in fog-related Punjab mishaps

LAHORE: Misty conditions in Punjab on Monday caused traffic accidents in Rahimyar Khan and Renala leaving at least two people dead, ARY News reported.

Around 50 people sustained injuries in fog-related road mishaps.

The fog has blanketed the Punjab plains disturbing normal life in the province due to low visibility.

The traffic authorities have directed the drivers to observe caution while driving.

The Lahore airport has also been closed for the flights due to low visibility under misty conditions.

A bus coming from Karachi to Lahore collided with another bus at Khanpur Road in Rahim Yar Khan. The bus crash claimed two lives and left scores of passengers injured.

In another road mishpa several people sustained injuries including five children in Renala.
