BELA: At least two people were killed and 30 others were wounded when a bus overturned in Bela townin Balochistan, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
A, bus heading from Quetta to Karachi, overturned near Kundi area in Bela in Lasbela district, due to which two people lost their lives whereas 30 others sustained injuries.
The cause of the accident has not been ascertained.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene of the road mishap and shifted the bodies and injured to Civil Hospital Bela. However, there was no doctor or any emergency staff on duty.
The rescue teams shifted the wounded to Civil Hospital Karachi when the doctors failed to show up at the Bela hospital.
Road accidents, primarily caused by poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving, leave thousands dead and injured every year in Pakistan.
