Two killed in Quetta roadside blast

QUETTA: At least two people died in blast that ripped through Qambrani Road in Quetta on Thursday, ARY News reported.

Two Frontier Corps personnel were also injured in the blast.

According to police, an improvised explosive device (IED) was planted along Qambrani road and it went off through a remote controlled device when a convoy of the FC passed through it.

A vehicle of security forces was also written off in the blast. Police and rescue workers helped shifting the injured to the FC hospital and Provincial Sundeman Hospital Quetta.

Those died in the blast were the civilians.
