Two Pakistanis killed in unprovoked Indian firing at LoC

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement said that Indian troops on Thursday resorted to unprovoked firing in Nakial sector resulting in martyrdom of Laiba aged13, and Munshi Ahmad, 55.

“Indian troops violated the ceasefire in Kotli sector, where the exchange of fire is continued and Pakistani soldiers are giving befitting response to Indian side,” it added.

The series of border violations by India is on rise for past some days, as on Wednesday another civilian was wounded and the day before a soldier of Pakistan Army got martyred due to Indian firing in Battal sector.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan urged India to honour commitment with regard to observance of ceasefire at the Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary.
