Ulema decree to ‘hang’ Kasur child molesters

LAHORE: More than 50 ulema and religious scholars on Monday decreed to hand capital punishment to the perpetrators behind horrific Kasur child abuse scandal, ARY News reported.

According to details, more than 50 ulema and scholars from all over country issued a fatwa validating death penalty for the beasts who sexually abused and made videos of over 250 children in Kasur, in the largest child abuse scandal of Pakistan’s history.

“In Islam, there is no pardon for such a sin and it is necessary to rid the society of such evil elements,” read the fatwa.

It further stated that the ones who demonstrated negligence regarding the matter do not deserve any concession, while it is the responsibility of the government to console the victims and their parents.

The decree was issued by over 50 ulema including Imran Qadri, Muhammad Raghib Naeemi and others.
