Sharif who is these days hosting the Cricket World Cup related show ‘Har Lamha Purjosh’ on ARY News first remarked that he is worried about Nasir Jamshed who is constantly being selected in playing eleven despite his poor performance.

Nasir Jamshed has not performed well with the bat in his three outings in World Cup and his fielding has also come under heavy criticism from cricketers and fans alike.

The comic way of appealing for Sarfraz Ahmed’s absence made everyone laugh and think at the same time.

Sharif asked cricket expert Basit Ali in the show that who can actually be asked to take notice of the wicketkeeper’s constant absence from the playing eleven.

Basit said that you can appeal Prime Minister to take notice upon which Umar Sharif while looking towards the screen requested PM Nawaz Sharif to look into the matter.

“Sir Aap Cricket Kheltey hen , Is mamlay ka notice len, wo bcha wahan hai, wahan kha raha hai pee raha hai, Hame ussay kam lena chahye, kab lenge,World Cup khatam hojaega phir”, said Umar Sharif.

(Sir, you play cricket, the guy (Sarfraz) is there, eating, drinking – When will our cricket team benefit from the talented player, when the world cup will be over)

Sharif added “Aap ne to sirf ek phone karna hai ”

(All you have to do is just call those responsible for selecting the team)

While people laughed, everyone sensed that Umar is seriously concerned and is smelling something fishy in the whole episode.
