Unknown gunmen kill school van driver

CHARSADDA: Unknown assailants on Friday morning opened fire on a school van in Minikhel area of Charsadda that killed the driver and left three students wounded, ARY News reported.

According to sources, unidentified armed men attacked a school van carrying at least 12 students in Charsadda district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The injured students were immediately shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Charsadda after the attack.

Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the attack.

He termed attack as the failure of the provincial government by saying “It has proved that KP government has fall shorted to make appropriate security arrangements.”

Altaf Hussain expressed condolence to the survivors of the school van driver and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
