NEW YORK: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative in the United Nations (UN) Dr. Maleeha Lodhi said that bitterness among countries are increasing due to unresolved conflicts in the world, ARY News reported
Addressing a UN session, Lodhi said that new and sophisticated disputes are emerging in the world.
She said that the solution of the crisis for peace is necessary and political process must be promoted for maintaining peace according to the UN charter.
Pakistan envoy in the United Nations stressed for seeking solution of the longstanding disputes and conflict situations.
Lodhi said that Pakistan backs peace efforts in the world through diplomacy and is fully supporting UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in this regard.
