University of Karachi serves notices to two students over Ayyan’s campus visit

KARACHI: The University of Karachi (UoK) has served notices to two students for inviting Ayaan Ali to inaugurate a departmental project at Department of Public Administration today, ARY News reported.

After repeated circulation of story on media and severe criticism on social media, the UoK administration was forced to take an action over the visit of Ayyan Ali – the accused recently released from Adiyala prison on bail in much-hyped money laundering case – to Department of Public Administration, University of Karachi.

The administration of UoK has served notices to two students who had invited Ayyan to university as guest of honor.

Earlier, while talking to ARY News, Areeb – the student who had extended invitation to Ayyan – said the administration was aware of the arrival of controversial supermodel and it was a complete surprise.

She added that she had contacted Ayyan Ali via Facebook and extended invitation to her to inaugurate a project at her department.
