US dollar rate rises against rupee

Karachi: The constant attempt of State Bank of Pakistan could not stop the rise in dollar’s value. Dollar rate crossed 103 against Pakistani rupees, ARY News reported.

The US dollar value against Pakistani rupee has gone beyond 103 in the open market on Monday.  According to the currency dealers the demand of US dollar in the beginning of the week has devalued Pakistani rupees. The rise was caused by paying $50 million import expenses due to which the sudden raise of 10 paisa was seen.

The buying and selling prices of US dollar on Monday was 103.10 and 103.50 rupee respectively.
