USAID’s provincial director for Sindh and Balochistan Leon Waskin said that the agency aims to implement an inclusive strategy and strong coordination to fight undernourishment. He also that education plays a crucial role in improving the child’s health and nutrition.
Countless children in Sindh suffer from malnutrition which also has impact on the child’s learning skills. Malnourishment is mostly prevalent in those areas that were hit by the floods in 2010, according to USAID.
