ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday said vacant seats in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s public gatherings were forecasting future of Chairman PTI Imran Khan, ARY News reported.

“Imran Khan threatens to take to streets, while he is still crying on streets. His negative politics is strengthening Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N),” he said while addressing Ulema Mushaikh Conference held under the auspices of Ulema Mushaikh Wing of PML-N in Islamabad.

He also said after the successful completion of Zarb-e-Azb there was a need of an ideological operation in the country to eradicate extremism.

“Islam is a religion of peace and love and we all must struggle and play our due role to bring the real face of Islam before the world,” he said.

On this occasion, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Asif Kirmani said Ulema had played a vital role in Pakistan Movement and the creation of Pakistan. He said following the footsteps of their forefathers, the Ulema of the present day were playing due role for strengthening the country, Radio Pakistan reported.

Asif Kirmani said that the mission and agenda of the present government is progress and prosperity of the country. He said PML-N believed in the democracy and power of the parliament.
