Rao Anwar said that Akhtar is accused in more than 25 cases in Malir district, and has not been bailed in two cases. He said that court order had been granted to take Akhtar into his custody. According to sources, various cases against Akhtar include clauses of terrorism which are being investigated.
It may be pertinent to mention that Rao Anwar has raised serious accusation against the Muthaida Quami Movement (MQM) during a press conference which include receiving assistance from abroad.
