We stand with military despite injustices, says Altaf

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain Saturday said that Saulat Mirza was made to learn the entire statement inside the ‘death cell’, while he said that his party stands with the military despite injustices, ARY News reported.

In his telephonic address with MQM workers in the United States (U.S.) and Canada, Altaf Hussain said that there is no room for criminals in the MQM.

“Our houses are being raided, innocents are being arrested, but we still stand with the army,” he said.

“Saulat Mirza was made to learn a script inside the death cell and the video of the statement was forwarded to media outlets, a day before his execution, which was intensely relayed,” Hussain lamented. “There is no such example in the world”.

He said that the MQM was accused using Saulat Mirza.

The MQM chief maintained that his party is being victimized in the Karachi Operation, while the biased analysts and political commentators say that MQM is fine and acceptable, provided if Altaf Hussain gets separated from it.

“If the MQM is acceptable without me, I separate myself,” he said, to which, the workers responded by chanting “No, No”.
