Tensions rise: Indian minister tweets “we will attack any country including Pakistan to counter terror”

Rajyavardhan Rathore in a fresh diatribe against Pakistan by an Indian minister, speaking to an Indian news channel said that the country after carrying out cross-border strikes in Myanmar has made it clear that it will attack all the countries including Pakistan, to counter terrorism, at the time of its choosing.

This is not the first time that India has resorted to the language of aggression against Pakistan.

The Indian state minister, on the strike in Myanmar, tweeted that “Indian Army strikes into the heart of millions”.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had accused the neighbouring country of promoting terrorism in the region by stating that, “Pakistan constantly disturbs India and keeps on promoting terrorism”.

Modi had also stated that the armed forces of India had fought alongside Mukti Bahini, a rebel group during the political turmoil in 1971, that the establishment of Bangladesh was the desire of every Indian.

Manohar Parrikar, India’s Defence Minister, had earlier said that the country will deal pro-actively with all the states planning attacks in the country.

India denies Pakistani diplomat visa: report

Meanwhile, an Indian TV channel reported on June 10 that the Pakistan government had criticized India’s denial of a visa to a diplomat who was going to be posted to New Delhi. However, there was no confirmation of this so far from the Pakistan side.
