According to details, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted rains accompanied with strong winds in parts off Punjab, Balochistan and Kashmir whereas thundershowers are also expected in few parts of the country.
Showers are also expected in Islamabad, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Quetta, Mirpur Khas, and Sukkur.
PMD, in its forecast for the next 24 hours, has predicted mainly hot & humid weather expected in most parts of the country during day times.
“Rain/dust-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls accompanied by windstorm is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat divisions, FATA and Kashmir during evening/night. Drizzle is expected at a few places in Sindh coast,” the weather department stated.
