Why Imran Khan fail to hold LB polls in KP, asks Khalid Maqbool

KARACHI: Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui asked Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan to tell the reason for not holding local body elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa yet, ARY News reported.

Addressing the press conference today in Karachi, MQM RC member Khalid Maqbool said he don’t have any doubt over Imran Khan’s intention  regarding lb polls in KP adding that reason which restricted him [Imran Khan] to conduct the polls during one and half year of governance should be disclosed.

MQM Leader advised Imran Khan to think about KP instead of getting worried about Karachi. He said Karachi is already waking and know how to awaken others.

“How to fight for their right, people of Sindh know very well but we didn’t took stand over some issues just for the sake of national sovereignty”, he added.

Talking about MQM-PTI ‘muk muka’ (understanding), Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said he also want to know about which ‘muk muka’ Pervaiz Rasheed was talking about.
