Form commission under CJ or brace for backlash, Imran tells govt

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan returned to Pakistan Monday morning following ‘legal consultations’ in London to devise strategy against the government after ‘Panama Papers’ accused the prime minister and family for having secret wealth abroad, ARY News reported.

Khan, speaking to media upon arrival, said PTI would only accept judicial commission to probe Panama leaks headed by the chief justice of Pakistan.

“We will move to any extent if our demand’s not met peacefully,” warned the PTI chairman.

Imran Khan said the commission government was trying to constitute was a complete eyewash and wont serve any purpose.

He believes that the nation’s fate could be changed with fair investigation into Panama Papers.

He claimed that PM’s daughter was trying to form a commission that aimed to hide tax evasion among the ruling elite.

However, PTI chief also prayed for better health of the prime minister and hoped he would soon return to the country.
