In an interview to a foreign news website, Afridi said that he has no plans of retiring from international and will keep representing Pakistan for two more years.

“I am enjoying playing cricket at the moment,” the ex-skipper said.

The former captain said that he will not return to the one-day format any time soon and is focusing on the 20-over format.

Afridi said that he fully wishes to join politics but his elders are advising him against it.

It should be noted that Afridi had stepped down as Pakistan’s Twenty20 captain following the team’s dismal show at Asia Cup and World Twenty20 this year.
