Zardari warns against misuse of military courts

LARKANA: Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari said on Saturday that his party accepted the formation of special courts to be headed by military officials  after the surety that they wouldn’t be used against political parties and journalists. ARY News reported.

Addressing to party workers on the occasion of seventh death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto Shaheed at Garhi Khuda Bukhsh in Larkana district, Asif Zardari said that the PPP will not allow any misuse of the military courts.

“We will sign the agreement of the constitution of military courts only after complete assurance”, he added .

Zardari apprehended that the military courts could be used to put him [Zardari] and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in jail.

Co-Chairman of PPP ruled out differences between him and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of PPP by saying ” This is nothing but rumors.”
