The statement was made by the PM during a high-level meeting he chaired at Prime Minister House in the federal capital. In the meeting, he was briefed on national security and overall situation of the country by the federal ministers and his advisers.
The prime minister said that no obstacles in the way of National Action Plan (NAP) would be tolerated. He added that the war against terrorism would continue till the elimination of last terrorist.
“Terrorists are attacking innocent children. We won’t let them succeed”, he said.
“The supporters and facilitators of the terrorists targeting the children will be brought to justice”, he added.
PM Sharif expressed his satisfaction on the positive outcomes of the targeted operations in Karachi and said that the crackdowns against criminals and terrorists will be brought to a logical end.
He also lauded the sacrifices rendered by the law enforcement agencies in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The prime minister also said that that the government is heading towards the right direction for social development and stability, which is being acknowledged on international level.
