Alamgir claimed that a call from Ferozabad Police Station had said that his car had been identified escaping from after an accident. According to Alamgir, the alleged call from the police station was received by his father.

Alamgir Khan gained prominence on social media owing to his unique protesting style. The activist displays Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah’s pictures alongside man-holes on the city’s main roads, with the message ‘Fix it!’.

According to his Facebook page, Alamgir Khan will not desist from placing pictures of the Sindh Chief Minister and uploaded pictures of himself with more of what he called ‘ammunition’.
