Australia Women, being invited to take guard scored 140/5 in their 20 overs with Alyssa Healy being the top scorer with an unbeaten knock of 15-ball 41 runs. She hit five fours and two sixes.

Beth Mooney scored 36 runs from 36 balls with the help of two boundaries while Alex Blackwell scored 27 runs from 22 balls.

Poonam Yadav took two wickets for India while Jhulan Goswami, Shikha Pandey and Anuja Patil dismissed one batswoman each.

India chased the target down in 18.4 overs with five wickets to spare.

Harmanpreet Kaur made 46 runs with six fours and a six to her name while Veda Krishnamurthy scored 35 runs for the team.
Smriti Mandhana contributed 29 runs for her team.

Jess Jonassen and Megan Schutt grabbed two wickets while Rene Farrell got one wicket in the match.
