Workers killing: MQM asks CM Sindh to ‘wake up’

KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) said on Friday voiced  concerns over killing of its workers in Chanesar Goth and demanded the government to take action, ARY News reported.

Addressing a press conference here, MQM’s Rabita Committee member Ghazi Salahuddin said Chanesar Goth would become another Lyari if law enforcement agencies did not galvanie into action against criminals.

Flanked by other MQM RC  members, he asked, “When will chief minister Sindh wake up to the problems of the city.”

He said no monitoring cell could be established in Karachi as yet.

The MQM leader asked why Rangers personnel didn’t carry out a targeted operation in Chanesar Goth despite repeated crimes.

He alleged that criminal elements were being patronized by the government.
