World needs to recognize Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom: COAS
According to a press release by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Raheel Sharif chaired a Corps Commanders Conference at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Wednesday.
The army chief stated that the world should help resolve the long standing dispute for lasting amity in Kashmir and enduring peace in the region.
He appreciated the relentless efforts of Intelligence and law enforcement agencies towards ensuring peace and security during Eid days in the face of numerous threats.
“External security situation was comprehensively discussed with particular emphasis on situation in Afghanistan,” the release read.
“To scrutinize cross border movement and ensure strict check on terrorist’s movement, the forum reviewed progress of measures being taken for effective border management,” ISPR stated.
