Talking to media in Lahore, the minister said government got various successes in various sectors of the country in its tenure so far.

He said the government restored peace in Karachi after operation against criminals.

Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) assumed power in a very challenging situation, but we delivered, added the minister.

He recalled that foreign obersevers had termed the general elections 2013 as ‘fair and transparent’. “But the PTI chief did not accept their observation.”

Rasheed said foreign investors were now investing in the country. This will lead to more employments in the country in coming years, he added.

Referring to PTI sit-ins in Islamabad, he said abuses were hurled during the sit-ins, but government demonstrated patience.

He claimed that Mr. Khan addressed to empty chairs for 126 days in Islamabad.

Earlier addressing a ceremony of Electronic Media Producers Rights Association, he said the government fully believes in freedom of expression and it has taken all possible measures to ensure it.

He said media has a strong impact and it should be used with care.
