World’s largest indoor theme park to open on 15th August 2016

According to a foreign news agency, the promoters Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group (IMG Group) announced that theme park named “Worlds of Adventure” in Dubai will open to customers on 15th August 2016.

The project costs at staggering $1billion and has 20 rides and customer attraction spots. Worlds of Adventure will have four zones namely Lost Valley Zone, Cartoon Network Zone, IMG Boulevard and Marvel Zone.

Lotto said that the theme park promises guests a remarkable immersive indoor theme park experience, bringing together the best international and local interactive entertainment and globally recognised characters and superheroes.

The Worlds of Adventure will have a couple of months of head start as other resorts and parks had announced they would open in October this year.

CEO of the theme park Lennard Otto said that Orlando 2.0 model is being followed by Dubai and the attraction spots in the city are a part of the tourism strategy.

Otto said, “Tickets will be priced at Dh300 for adults and Dh250 for children.” He added that the ticket will be up for sale online from April 25th, 2016 (today).

Executive Co-Chairmen and Owners of the IMG Group Ilyas Galadari and Mustafa Galadari said, “We are very excited to announce our opening date and look forward to IMG Worlds of Adventure coming to life in August of this year. As the first international leisure and entertainment destination in Dubai, we have designed an entire world of entertainment for our guests.”

They claimed that Worlds of Adventure would remain open to public every day of the yeat and can host upto 30,000 visitors per day.

“With the capacity to welcome more than 30,000 people a day we anticipate 4.5 million guests in our first full year of operation, contributing to Dubai’s position as a leading tourism hub,” they said.

Otto said that the 96 percent of the park’s construction has been completed whereas the testing phase of several spots has not been done yet.
