Sources told that six out of the total 16 suspects of the Youhanabad lynching have past criminal record.
Police obtained the pictures of the suspects from the footages of different news channels.
The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has formally been requested to provide the record with respect to the pictures.
Earlier on March 15, enraged protesters shortly after the Lahore church bombings burnt alive two men in Youhanabad and kept desecrating their bodies for hours.
The mobsters mistook the victims as attackers who had bombed the churches.
However, they were later identified to be the locals named Muhammad Naeem – a shopkeeper – and Babar Nauman – a factory worker.
