According to Police, a speeding truck knocked down 18-year old Sheraz who was riding a motorcycle at Quaid-e-Azam Interchange. The youngster was killed on the spot in the hit and run incident.
The family members of the deceased and residents of the area protested against the incident by keeping the dead body on the road.
Police arrived at the scene and shifted the corpse to Jinnah Hospital for postmortem.
It is claimed by the local people that the truck involved in the incident was being used for the construction of the Orange Line project in the city.
