The 50-year old woman identified as Haneefa Bibi was crossing the railway tracks when a speeding train appeared. A young man Ramzan, 20, seeing the woman was in danger, jumped in front of the train to try and rescue her but to no avail.
They both were hit by the train and were killed immediately.
The dead bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for procedures.
