Hearing will be held for the fraud case of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Peoples Party stalwart, Yousaf Raza Gillani.
The proceedings will be held today again, in a fraud case of Rs. 60 million in which the ex-Prime Minister is accused. In the previous hearing, the court had expressed anger at the Federal Investigation Agency for not filing a response and had directed them to file one till the next proceeding.
A couple of months ago, an accountability court had ordered the arrest of Yousaf Raza Gillani and another Pakistan Peoples Party stalwart, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, in corruption cases of the Trade and Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) scam. It was also alleged that Yousaf Raza Gillani and Amin Fahim had transferred billions of rupees by forming fake companies.
However, Gillani had managed to secure bail in 8 corruption cases in September.
