According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), jet fighters pounded suspected militant hideouts in North Waziristan tribal region killing 15 militants.
Several hideouts of militants were also destroyed in the airstrike, ISPR stated.
Security sources have said that a curfew has been imposed in Dattakhel market for an indefinite period.
On the other hand, eight unidentified bodies were recovered from Tirah Valley area of Khyber Agency.
It should be noted that more than a thousand militants have been slain in Zarb-e-Azb miliatry offensive against terrorists in North Waziristan.
Explosive factories have also been destroyed in the military operation so far.
