Pakistan’s military has launched an offensive against militants infested North Waziristan to clear the region, which has been being used by the militants as base for terrorist attacks across the country.
According to sources, Pakistan Army destroyed six militant hideouts whereas 28 militants including foreign terrorists were also killed.
A landmine factory and large quantity of explosives, weapons and foreign currency were also seized during a search operation at Mir Ali.
It should be noted that the military has gained full control of Boya and Deygan regions which were considered as the main operational centres of the terrorists.
