LONDON: Former president Asif Ali Zardari has lauded Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah over the government’s arrangements for PPP’s Salam-e-Shuhada rally in Karachi.
Zardari telephoned Shah and congratulated him for making excellent arrangements for the party’s public meeting in Karachi.
The former president and current co-chairman of the party told CM Sindh that he was doing a good job. He added that his services for the people of Sindh and party activists are praise-worthy.
Zardari urged that the speed of the completion of development works in the province should be stepped up.
The PPP co-chairman also contacted PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and congratulated him over holding the rally.
The PPP co-chairman told Bilawal that he revived the memories of 2007 and the people silenced the opposition by attending the rally in large numbers.
