LONDON: Former president and Co-Chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday constituted a committee being headed by former interior minister Rehman Malik to review the issue of Panama Papers, ARY News reported.

Zardari and Malik had a detailed discussion in the meeting held in London regarding Panama Leaks, sources said.

The committee headed by Malik would also include PPP Punjab leader  Safdar Warraich and Khurram Latif Khosa. The committee would submit a report to Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over Panamagate issue in two weeks.

PPP would take a decision over Panama Papers after reviewing the report in Central Executive Committee meeting.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been accused of having links with the offshore companies. He responded on Monday to the allegations leveled against him in National Assembly. The opposition has termed his speech a failure to satisfy them with the required answers.

Leader of Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the opposition would now only talk on the questions in the NA session.

PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the prime minister failed to give answers of the seven questions, which led the opposition to prepare 70 questions now.
