Zardari hailed the visit of the members of the US Congress and said that they had appreciated the efforts of Pakistan during the ongoing Zarb-e-Azb operation against terrorists. He said that the rest of the world should also appreciate the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan was one of the worst affected by terrorism, and it was commendable that this was recognised by the US Congress. This will help reduce misunderstanding between the two countries and improve bilateral relations between them.
He said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) makes all efforts at every forum to highlight the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan against terrorism.
