In his statement issued today, Asif Ali Zardari said that the menace of horse-trading needs to be rooted out and this is only possible through effective and concrete measures, not by mere rhetoric.
He said that the government should consult other political parties to eliminate this evil.
Zardari also suggested to call an all parties’ meeting on the issue.
The PPP co-chairman hoped that government directives to prevent irregularities will be result-oriented and not a political stunt.
